WCEC seeks a talented individual with leadership qualities.

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains professional behavior, including confidentiality 
  • Liaison to DCF Offices/Personnel 
  • Monitor and ensure that Priority Population Contract measures are met and submitted to EEC as required  
  • Periodically audit and record organization’s compliance with completion of 45 Day/ Quarterly Reassessments of every priority population involved child 
  • Ensure that parent and priority population case worker are provided with child’s 45 Day and Quarterly Reassessments  
  • Conduct periodical visits to programs and consult with Program Directors, contracted providers and staff to assess priority population contract children’s needs and convey any concerns to the family’s respective Case Worker 
  • Be available to consult with program directors during business hours regarding any child abuse or neglect related issue 
  • Responsible for monitoring enrollment of the Priority Population Contracts 
  • Provide information necessary for the successful integration of referred Priority Population children into the classroom 
  • Consults Program Directors concerning the child’s adjustment as related to the Behavior Management and Ending Child Care policies in the parent handbook as requested. 
  • Advocates and refers children and/or families for services with local agencies, following WCEC, Inc.’s Requests of Support Services 
  • Works as scheduled with flexibility and availability during the program’s hours of operation 
  • Participates in training and professional development as required remain well-informed of the field’s best practice 
  • Performs other job-related duties, as assigned by the Director of Social Services/Director of Operations/CEO 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Associate’s degree in the field of Human Services or related field or High School Diploma with significant field related work experience 
  • Must meet and maintain employment requirements of WCEC, Inc. 
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills in English both orally and in written form, bilingual may be preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle. 
  • Skills with MS Office and other computer applications 
  • Ability to work as a Team Player 
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse workforce and customer base 
  • Excellent work ethic 
  • Flexible schedule during hours of operations
